About me...

I am a screenwriter and founder of Pride Reads, an lgbtq+ writing newsletter and script feedback service.

I've always enjoyed writing stories, ever since I was young. I went on to become an actor, and eventually set up my own Theatre Company, touring Maths Plays and Christmas shows to schools and small venues.

During this time I realised I didn't want to be the one performing the stories anymore, I wanted to be the one writing them. So, I changed course slightly, and got into script writing.

I won the New Writing North - Writing for TV award in 2016, and was mentored for a year on a soap before being commissioned to write an episode.

My scripts are all lgbtq+ focussed and I'm passionate about getting better queer representation in TV and Film.

I am currently writing my first novel.
